The Sidney Women’s Tennis League finished its 2015 summer tennis season with several new players and many returning players.

League players in the advanced division were Laura Cianciolo, Karen Elsner, Jill Gates, Annalisa Reinhart, Joan Schroeder, Linda Temple, Rikki Unterbrink, Ann VanHorn, Amy West and Anne Westerheide.

In the beginner division the players were Jessica Fortkamp, Allisa Geise, Amber Helman, Whitney Langston, Paula Hill, Pam Kerrigan, Karen Schlagetter, Elaine Schweller-Snyder, and Gwen Stevenson.

Awards were given for the highest average games per match and first went to Joan Schroeder, second to Linda Temple assisted by her sister Lisa Shroyer, and third to Anne Westerheide. The most consistent score in the advanced division went to Anna Lisa Reinhart.

In the beginner division, the highest average games per match went to Karen Schlagetter, second to Pam Kerrigan, and third to Jessica Fortkamp. The most consistent score in the beginner division went to Karen Schlagetter.

The Sidney Women’s tennis league plays on Monday nights starting in June on the Sidney High School tennis courts. Anyone interested for next year may contact any of this year’s players for more information.
