Fall baseball set in Troy

TROY — There are still two weeks left to register for the Frosty Brown Fall Batting Leagues, to be held at Duke Park in Troy.

The original Fall Batting League is for 13-to-18-year-olds and the cost is $115. It will be held on Mondays and Thursdays, and the deadline for registering is Aug. 31.

The Live Pitching League is also for ages 13-to-18 at the same cost. It will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. The deadline for registering is Aug. 26.

The Junior Fall Batting League for 9-to-12-year-olds costs $90. It will be held on Saturdays and Mondays. The deadline for registering is Sept. 9.

High school players can save $50 by signing up for both older leagues.

The leagues are open to individuals or teams, and high school coaches can have as many players from their school as they want. The leagues meet all Ohio High School Athletic Association rules, with no coaches or players selecting captains or running their own teams.

Register at www.fallbatting.com, or contact Brown at [email protected], or call 937-339-4383 or 937-474-9093.
