HOUSTON — The finals are set for Saturday in the County Junior High Boys Basketball Tournament, being held at Houston.

In the 7th grade semifinals on Thursday, Anna beat Fort Loramie 38-28, with Zach Ambos scoring 13 for Anna and Damon Mescher 18 for Loramie.

And in the other semifinal, Botkins beat Fairlawn 48-27, with the Trojans being led by Jacob Pleiman with 21. Dominic Davis had 12 for the Jets.

Botkins and Anna will meet Saturday at 10 a.m. at Houston in the championship.

• In the 8th grade semifinals, Fort Loramie edged Botkins 23-22. Caeleb Meyer had nine for Loramie and Zane Paul eight for Botkins.

Loramie will take on Fairlawn, which beat Jackson Center 53-40. Ashton Piper had 18 for Fairlawn, and Aiden Reichert 16 for Jackson.

The 8th grade title game will start at approximately 11:15 Saturday at Houston.
