The Fort Loramie boys golf team defeated Botkins 162-189 in the county opener for both teams Friday at Arrowhead.

Zach Pleiman paced the Redskins with a 37 while Craig Eilerman shot a 38, Mitchell Puthoff 42, Shea Swick and Jared Middendorf 45 each and Eli Rosengarten 48.

Nick Fischio led all players with a 36 for the Trojans while Alex Bajwa carded a 48, Anthony Opperman 51 and Connor Stutsman 54.

Lehman wins quad

Lehman finished first in quad action at Shelby Oaks as the Cavaliers had 171, Jackson Center 173, Sidney 181 and Riverside 198.

Cole Gilardi earned medalist honors as he led the Cavs with a 39. Tyler Lachey had a 41, Ryan Schmidt 43 and Mikey Rossman 48.

Three players for the Tigers carded a 43 in Bryce Sosby, Trent Platfoot and Coltin Rose while TJ Esser was one stroke behind at 44.

For the Jackets, Jared Lindsey had a 41 while Patrick McClain had a 43, Ben Spangler 45 and Mitchel Larger 51.

Trey Lane paced Riverside with a 44 while James Hudson had a 49, Greg Bryant 52 and Jason Yoder 53.
