SIDNEY — The Lehman girls tennis team opened the season with two tough matches. Lehman lost to Miami Valley 5-0 on Monday and 4-1 to Milton-Union on Tuesday.

“I thought our girls played well,” Lehman coach Tim Ungericht said of Monday’s performance. “Miami Valley is one of the top two Division II teams in the Dayton area and the toughest team we will play the entire season.
