Piqua beats Sidney volleyball 3-2 to open all-sports trophy competition

The two schools are competing for an all-sports trophy for the first time, and Tuesday’s match in Sidney was the first competition between teams this year. Piqua beat Sidney 3-2 to take an early lead in the competition. Piqua won the second set 25-21, third set 25-19 and fifth set 15-6. The Yellow Jackets won the first set 25-22 and the fourth set 25-16.
