HARROD — Minster scored a touchdown with under two minutes left to complete a come-from-behind win over Convoy Crestview in a Division VII, Region 28 semifinal on Friday at Lima Spartan Stadium.

Minster senior quarterback Jared Huelsman scored on a 8-yard to boost the team to a 35-32 win. The Wildcats advance to face Delphos St. John’s in a regional final next Friday.

Crestview led through most of the game and had a 13-point lead early in the third quarter.

But Huelsman, who was the Midwest Athletic Conference offensive player of the year last year, came up big down the stretch for the Wildcats again.

Huelsman scored on a 12-yard run with 4:38 left in the third to pull Minster within 26-20. He then threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Alex Lehmkuhl midway through the fourth to give the Wildcats a 27-26 lead.

Crestview scored on a 25-yard run by Drew Kine with four minutes left, but Huelsman led a 6-play, 61-yard drive to lift the Wildcats to the victory.

Huelsman finished with 157 rushing yards on 24 carries with three touchdowns and also completed 11 of 16 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns. He also had four tackles on defense.

Crestview had 440 yards of offense in the game, while Minster had 404.
