SIDNEY — A number of champions were crowned recently in the Bob Fridley Junior Golf Tournament at Shelby Oaks Golf Course.
Here are the scores and winners by age:
15-17 Age Group
Colton Rose shot the low net score with a 61, while Brad Gottemoeller was second with a 63. Mason Jones shot the low gross score with a 78 (75 net), while Nick Fischio was second with a 79 (64 net).
Nicolas Stonebraker won the chipping contest, while Jones was second and T.J. Esser was third. Cole Maurer won the putting contest, while Gottemoeller was second and Tristin Stangel, Eli Kuck and Jones were tied for third.
The net scores for the age group: Brad Gottemoeller shot a 63, Nick Fischio shot a 64, Cole Maurer shot a 67, Isiac Ruhenkamp shot a 72, Trent Platfoot shot a 73, Mason Jones shot a 75, Ryan Schmidt shot a 75, Tristen Stangel shot a 78, T.J. Esser shot a 78, Eli Kuck shot an 80, Nickolas Stonebraker shot an 82, Mason Platfoot shot an 82 and Nathan Edelman shot a 91.
13-14 Age Group
Jordan Rizzo recorded the low net score (78 net, 126 gross), while Bryce Cobb had the low gross score (96 gross, 84 net). Christopher Eichert shot an 85 net, 97 gross.
Cobb took first in the chipping contest, while Eichert took second. Eichert won the putting contest, while Rizzo took second.
10-12 Age Group
Landon Howell won the low net competition with a 32, while Lane Howell was second with a 34. Aiden Wherman and Max Cotner tied for the low gross with 49. Wehrman took first place after winning a four-hole putt off by one stroke. Cotner took second in the low gross competition.
Cotner won the chipping contest, while Hope Bixler was second, Landon Howell was third, Eva Bolin was fourth and Landon Cobb was fifth.
Cotner also won the putting contest, while Wehrman was second, Landon Howell was third and Lane Howell was fourth.
