Cargill to host cookout

SIDNEY — Cargill and Davis Meats are teaming up to raise money for the Shelby County United Way.

A cookout will be held next to the pavilion by the guard’s shack at Cargill on Sept. 28 and 29, along with Oct. 4 and 6. The hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Employees and community members are invited to attend.

The menu includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, chili dogs, baked beans, chips, pop and water.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the United Way.

Anyone who would like to donate to the United Way may send the donation to Shelby County United Way, Attention Scott Barr, 232 S. Ohio Ave., P.O Box 751, Sidney, OH 45365. Checks should be made out to Shelby County United Way.
