SIDNEY — Fairlawn High School graduation is planned for Sunday, May 21, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the school.
The class motto is “Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else’s path, unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and see a path, then by all means you should follow that” by Ellen DeGeneres. The class flower is the pink rose. The class song is “You’re Going To Miss This” by Trace Adkins.
The Rev. Mark Hina will provide the invocation for the ceremony. The guest speaker is Tammy Langston, a middle school teacher at Fairlawn Local Schools.
Pending final grades, the class valedictorians are Nicholas Brautigam, son of Josh and Tricia Brautigam; and Jacob Caldwell, son of Matthew and Jody Caldwell. The salutatorian is Whitney Tyler, daughter of Randy and Michele Tyler.
