Matt Clayton, of Sidney, gets ready to gather a swarm of honeybees from the center of Marilyn Drive on Mother’s Day afternoon while local residents direct traffic around the swarm and observe the process. Michael Montgomery noticed the swarm of bees while he was sitting on his porch. At first he thought if was a swarm of large gnats. “The sun shining on them looked like a golden snow storm, bees were everywhere, it was a beautiful thing to see.” His daughter Gabi said “I one landed on the car and I saw it was a honey bee, one minute there was nothing and the next they were everywhere.” Matt Clayton and his family can remove honeybees without the use of toxic chemicals or any harm to the bees. Clayton can be reached at 937-492-7034 or 419-733-3896.
