Woman may have fallen asleep prior to fiery crash

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A woman may have fallen asleep before her car crashed into a bus near Disney’ Animal Kingdom on Saturday, sending 11 people to the hospital.

The Orlando Sentinel http://bit.ly/1XtSig3 is reporting Megan Hester-Villalobos is said to have fallen asleep prior to the fiery crash near Osceola Parkway and Black Lake Road. Hester-Villalobos and her husband, Jesse Villalobos, along with their 7-year-son, were hospitalized. There were eight people on the Disney shuttle bus who also went to the hospital.

Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Kim Montes told the Sentinel that the couple’s son told troopers his mom fell asleep after full day at the parks. But another family who wasn’t there told the Sentinel that the son told her his mom swerved as a result of trying to avoid an accident.
