COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A man accused in a central Ohio shooting that killed a 7-year-old boy and injured others has been indicted on charges of aggravated murder and attempted murder.
A Franklin County grand jury on Friday also indicted 18-year-old Marctarious Grace on charges of murder, felonious assault and participating in a criminal gang.
Court records list no attorney for Grace. His arraignment is scheduled Wednesday.
Police say 7-year-old Deonte Fisher, his 5-year-old brother, 4-year-old sister and a 19-year-old man were in a car that was sprayed by bullets in a parking lot at a market on March 4. Deonte was shot in the head. The other three were hurt but expected to survive.
Police say the shooting was part of an ongoing feud between rival gangs.
