COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio prosecutor says a man accused of killing a 7-year-old boy and wounding three other people who were in a car sprayed with bullets has been formally charged.
WCMH-TV (http://bit.ly/1Li8fCB ) reports that 18-year-old Marctarius Grace was indicted Friday on numerous counts, including aggravated murder, attempted murder, felony assault and participating in a criminal gang.
The charges stem from the March 4 shooting death of Deontae Fisher. Police say the boy, his 5-year-old brother, 4-year-old sister and 19-year-old Rayquan Holloway were in a car on a parking lot at a Columbus market when the shootings occurred.
Police say the shooting was part of an ongoing feud between rival gangs.
Grace is to be arraigned in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday.
