— BODY FOUND-SCIOTO RIVER: A coroner says a man whose body was found in a central Ohio river was probably dead before he went into the water.

— OLD RAPE-NEW DNA EVIDENCE: A man has been indicted in a 1997 rape at a central Ohio park after new testing on old evidence helped identify him through DNA.

TEENS SHOT-BIRTHDAY: Cincinnati police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in a shooting a year ago that killed a 17-year-old girl and hurt two other teens when a fight broke out during a birthday party.

— DRUGS AND GUNS-EX-FUGITIVE: Federal prosecutors say an ex-fugitive arrested in connection with a racketeering case has pleaded guilty to several charges in Ohio.
