CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — The University of Central Arkansas has named four finalists for president.
UCA on Friday said Arkansas State University vice Chancellor Len Frey; Kennesaw State University interim President Houston Davis; University of Toledo, Ohio, dean and professor of engineering Nagi Naganathan; and Western Carolina University dean and professor of economics Darrell Parker.
The four were selected after a search committee interviewed eight semifinalists Wednesday and Thursday in Dallas. Each of the four will visit UCA separately and talk with faculty and staff members, trustees and community residents Monday through Friday.
UCA is seeking to replace current President Tom Courtway, who announced Dec. 11, 2015, that he would step down and hopes to leave the position in December. Courtway will move into a teaching position in the UCA College of Business.
