Fort Loramie Industrial Park to expand

COLUMBUS – The KARSS Group LLC will soon begin development of a 24,000 square-foot expandable building in the Fort Loramie Industrial Park. State Representative Tim Barhorst has announced the project is made possible after the project was approved for a Ohio Site Inventory Program grant through JobsOhio.

“Manufacturing is major employer in Shelby County,” said Barhorst. “This grant will help promote steady jobs in the county, which will help our community thrive.”

The KARSS Group project will add a 24,000 square-foot building with the option to expand the building to 98,000 square-feet. The building will join others since the industrial park’s creation in 1990.

Ohio Site Inventory Program offers grants and low-interest loans to support building development projects. The primary goal of OSIP is to fill gaps in Ohio’s real estate inventory with real estate targeting near-term sector wins to ensure our state is more competitive for reactive site selection projects.
