Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center Village Council will hold a special meeting Saturday, June 20, at 7:30 a.m.

Council will consider a resolution to commit village funds to match the CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Program for fiscal year 2015.

Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education will meet Monday, June 22, at 6 p.m. in the Adams Board Room.

The board will hear reports from the board president, board member and superintendent. Also on the agenda is the fiscal report, temporary appropriations, grant allocations, mileage reimbursement, and various personnel matters.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

Council will hear a presentation on firefighter promotions and consider the adoption of ordinances to make supplemental appropriations, naming the softball diamond at Harmon Field Jerry Knoop Diamond, and authorizing an energy-aggregation program.

An ordinance will be introduced to negotiate jointly with other cities for electric light services. Council will consider resolutions authorizing application for a Community Development Block Grant, reappointing people to the Revolving Loan Fund Committee and Zoning Board of Appeals, and accepting plats for the BM Partners lot split.

In an executive session, council will discuss preparing for negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees, to consider the purchase of property, and to discuss pending or imminent court action.

Anna Village Council

ANNA — Anna Village Council will meet Tuesday, June 23, at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall.

Council will consider an ordinance authorizing the issuance and sale of hospital facility revenue bonds, a resolution to place on the election ballot a levy for an additional 0.25 percent on the village income tax, and a resolution authorizing additional appropriations. Also on the agenda is a resolution authorizing assessments for Young Street improvements.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The second regular council meeting in June has been rescheduled to June 29 at 7 p.m.

The council will read an ordinance authorizing the village administrator to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area Agreement with EMI Corp. If the ordinance is passed, EMI Corp. will construct an industrial building and offices for the purpose of providing an increase to production capacity and expansion.

The CRA agreement provides a 100 percent exemption from real property taxes and assessment for a period of 15 years on all improvements made to the real property.

New Knoxville Board of Education

NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for June 22 will be held June 29 at 7 p.m. at the school.

Fort Loramie Board of Education

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet Wednesday, June 24, at 6 p.m. in special session.

Midwest Regional Educational Service Center

SIDNEY — The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center’s regular monthly board meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. as follows:

• June 25, 2015, at Benjamin Logan Local Schools at 4740 County Road 26, Bellefontaine, Ohio.

• July 23, 2015, at Anna Local Schools at 1 McRill Way, Anna, Ohio.

• Aug. 20, 2015, at Indian Lake Schools at 6210 State Route 235, Lewistown, Ohio.

Shelby County Regional Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The executive board of the Shelby County Regional Planning Commission will meet Wednesday, June 24, at 12:15 p.m. in the second floor meeting room at 129 E. Court St.

The board will review the Liston and Cordonnier-York surveys. Director Dianna Reisinger will also give her report.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services meeting previously scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, has been postponed to Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy.
