SIDNEY — Dr. Carrie Huber has joined Wilson Health Medical Group OB/GYN, offering a comprehensive list of obstetric and gynecological healthcare services for women of all ages.

She joins the practice of Drs. Cecila Banga, Kristi Pedler, Julie Ressler, Valerie Schulte and Courtney Slonkosky and certified nurse practitioner Lisa Pleiman.

Most recently, Huber was the department head and staff physician of the Van Wert County Hospital’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department in Van Wert. She also previously served as an OB/GYN hospitalist there.

Huber graduated from the University of Louisville’s School of Medicine in Kentucky with her degree of medicine. She performed her residency training for obstetrics and gynecology at TriHealth’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Huber graduated with her Bachelor of Science in biology from Western Kentucky University. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as holding medical licenses in both Ohio and Kentucky.

With a proficiency in the Spanish language, Huber worked at the Tenwek Mission Hospital in Bomet, Kenya, for more than a year. Her roles on the World Medical Mission included teaching residents and medical students about obstetrics and gynecological procedures and performing these procedures.
