THURSDAY

-12:37 a.m.: criminal damaging and theft. Erik Reed, 814 Lynn St., reported someone damaged the door frame to enter his vehicle in the 800 block of Hilltop Avenue and stole a guitar, valued at $200. Loss from the damage was $100.

WEDNESDAY

-10:37 p.m.: theft. Dennis Shoffner, 306 S. Vandemark Road, reported the license plate was stolen from a trailer at his residence.

-5:22 p.m.: theft. Maureen Oltman, 537 E. Hoewisher Road, reported someone entered her unlocked car overnight at her residence and stole a GPS unit, valued at $150, and $5 cash.

-7:14 a.m.: burglary. Someone kicked in a door at the residence of Reginald Nichols, 306 Monroe St., and stole $20 in change and some popcorn.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-9:26 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 2221 Michigan St. by a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

-12:01 to 5:41 a.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-4:09 p.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 1959 Michigan St. by a fire alarm. The alarm was caused by a storm. There was no other problem.

-12:05 to 10:49 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
