Wilson to change parking patterns

SIDNEY — The Wilson Health campus continues to be under construction as a result of the 48,000-square foot Professional Building expansion set to open in 2016.

Starting Aug. 3, Wilson Health will be transforming the main drive entryway to prepare for the opening of the new medical building.

“We would like to remind patients and visitors to be aware of the changing pedestrian and traffic patterns on the Wilson Health campus and exercise caution in these areas,” said Chief Operating Officer Greg Long. “Temporary signage will be placed throughout the construction areas to help direct patients and visitors to their desired location.”

The new building will be adjacent to the existing Professional Building and will be the future home of Wilson Health Medical Group practices currently located in Sidney.

“Due to the continued growth at Wilson Health, it has become very important for us to find alternative methods to continue to meet our patients’ and the community’s health needs,” said Long. “The strategy behind the new medical building will focus on a team-based healthcare delivery model to allow for better access to healthcare, increased patient satisfaction and ultimately improved health in the communities we serve.”

Wilson Health Medical Group is a multi-specialty physician group consisting of 32 providers with offices located throughout Shelby County. The practices in Sidney specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, ENT and endocrinology and are located both on and off the Wilson Health main campus in independent offices. The goal of the expansion is to put these practices all under one roof.
