SIDNEY — The board of trustees of the Senior Center of Sidney and Shelby County has appointed a committee to rebrand and advertise the organization.

The action was taken during the board’s regular meeting, July 10. Serving on the committee are Steve Schroeder, Dave Schemmel, Barb cole, Eileen Wiseman, Janet born, Bill Elson and Carolyn Warner.

In other business, the board:

• Voted not to raise membership dues. They will remain at $26 per year for 2016.

• Heard a report from Sidney City Manager Mark Cundiff on city activities, taxes and the state budget bill.

• Learned that the Senior Singers will perform July 28, at 11 a.m., at the Shelby County Fair in the Free Entertainment Tent.
