Couple share marriage vows

CELINA — Jill Hemmelgarn and Eric Schwieterman, both of Celina, were united in marriage Nov. 28, 2015, at 1:30 p.m., in the St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce and Ken Hemmelgarn, of North Star. The bridegroom is the son of Lois and Dave Schwieterman, of Celina.

The Rev. David Zink performed the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Megan Hemmelgarn and Sarah Hemmelgarn served as their sister’s maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Buschur, Kate Homan, Heidi Luebke and Laura Schwieterman, all sisters of the bridegroom, Renee Hemmelgarn, sister-in-law of the bride, Brooke Pierron, Kristin Homan and Lauren Rindler. Rylie Buschur, goddaughter of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Joe Schwieterman served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Keith Hemmelgarn, brother of the bride, Eric Buschur, Matt Homan and Troy Luebke, all brothers-in-law of the bridegroom, Kyle Poeppelman, Neil Homan and Steve Homan, all cousins of the bridegroom, Adam Schulze, Todd Heitkamp, Taylor Stucke and Brandon Arling.

A reception in St. Michael’s Hall in Fort Loramie followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride graduated from Versailles High School in 2010 and from Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education in 2013. She is employed by Russia Local School as a first-grade teacher.

The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Marion Local High School. He is a self-employed farmer.
