FISH volunteers are needed

To to editor:

FISH has been part of the Shelby County community for over 30 years and continues to thrive and grow. Thank you to all the individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations in our community for their generous support in the form of clothing, household items, food, and monetary donations over the years.

FISH has been busier than ever providing assistance to the needy of Shelby County with food, prescriptions, clothing, steel toed shoes, and gasoline, as well as, providing clothing and household items, modestly priced, to customers shopping at our Thrift Store.

As we gear up for the holiday season we once again will operate our Christmas Store beginning on Saturday, Nov. 3 through Saturday, Dec. 22. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The main store will continue to operate during its regular hours, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.

FISH is in the need of caring, dedicated volunteers who would like to join us in fulfilling our mission of serving the community of Shelby County. People interested in volunteering are encouraged to stop by the FISH store and fill out a Volunteer Application. Together we can accomplish great things.
