MONROE – Moeller Brew Barn has announced plans to expand and add an additional taproom and brewery in Monroe, Ohio. This marks Moeller’s first Cincinnati-area location after adding Troy and Dayton in recent years to their original homebase in Maria Stein, Ohio.

“We’ll spend the next few months putting some new touches on the taproom, and we’ll fire up the brewhouse and start brewing our favorites. The new brewhouse and cellar will help us expand our distribution footprint as well,” stated Nick Moeller, founder of Moeller Brew Barn.

The 25,875-square-foot facility at 6550 Hamilton Lebanon Road allows Moeller Brew Barn, founded in 2015, to expand the brand’s taproom presence to the Cincinnati region.

“We are delighted to welcome Moeller Brew Barn to the City of Monroe. As a community, Monroe is “Firmly Founded, Proudly Growing,” and we recognize that same spirit in the Moeller team. The Moeller brand’s dedication to creative spaces and quality products feels like an excellent fit for our residents and businesses to enjoy,” said Jennifer Patterson, assistant to the city manager/economic development for the city of Monroe.

More than 24 beers will be on tap at any given time, including new beers brewed on site and established Moeller favorites. The kitchen will offer established favorites such as neapolitan-style pizzas, smoked wings, and Bavarian pretzels.

“We are stoked about this big opportunity in front of us. Monroe is a small town near the big city and we’re excited to be part of it,” Moeller said.

“After observing the evolution and growth of our brand over the past couple of years, we decided that now was the right time to go forward with this opportunity. It’s a big step forward for us, but we are ready,” stated Anthony Scott, co-owner of Moeller Brew Barn.
