• Ensign Harry F. Raterman – World War II – Air Corps of U.S. Navy

• Private Ralph J. Rieger – World War II – U.S. Army

• Private Jerome Raymond Frilling – Vietnam – U.S. Army

The program also featured a message from the student body that was done by junior Ella Boerger and a song performed by senior Thomas Birkmeyer. Members of the Old School History Club contributed readings for the day and adviser of that student organization Brad Turner performed as the emcee for the event. The American Legion Post 355 Color Guard also assisted in the day’s festivities.

Eighty-one area veterans were in attendance for the program ranging in age from 20 to 94. The youngest was Amber Bonner who is currently serving in the Marines and the oldest was Vernon Eilerman who is a veteran of the Korean War and is 94 years old. Eilerman was one of nine Korean War veterans who were in attendance.
