WAPAKONETA — The Riverside Art Center is hosting a meet the artist reception for the artist Mike Huffman on March 10, the day the center begins the Featured Artist Exhibit for Huffman and his work.

The meet the artist reception will be held at the Riverside Art Center, 3 W. Auglaize St., Wapakoneta, from 6 to 7 p.m. The exhibit and meet the artist reception are free and open to the public.

Huffman has been an exhibiting artist since 1974. His work has been featured in solo, group and juried exhibitions in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas and Ohio.

He studied Fine Arts at Kent State and went on to earn his Master’s in Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University. He later earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Education from The Ohio State University.

The reception to meet Huffman is set for March 10 and his work will be featured at the Riverside Art Center from March 10 through April 15.

Riverside Art Center hours are Wednesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the center is closed Sunday through Tuesday. For more information, contact the center at 419-738-2352.
