Crashes

Barbara Gregory, 56, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on May 31 at 7:40 p.m.

John Iverson, 60, of Sidney, was stopped at a red light on South Miami Avenue at the intersection of East Court Street and Gregory was behind him and rear-ended him.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on May 31 at 3:30 p.m.

Kianah Parsley, 21, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street when an unknown vehicle sideswiped her and left the scene. Parsley was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with possible injuries.

• Michelle R. Michael, 46, of Sidney, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on May 31 at 2:34 p.m.

Zachary R. Payne, 27, of Houston, was traveling westbound on Michigan Street and Michael was stopped at the stop sign on Lester Avenue. As a semi-truck was turning right onto Lester Avenue, Michael turned left onto Michigan Street in front of Payne, causing a collision.

The vehicle Michael was driving was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and the vehicle Payne was driving was towed by Elmer’s Towing. Payne’s passenger was taken to Wilson Health by Sidney EMS with possible injuries.

• Oliver J. Cornett, 63, of Hamilton, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on May 31 at 11:22 a.m.

Gary J. Repcik, 59, of Sidney, was traveling northbound on Main Avenue and Cornett was parked on the road. Cornett began to back out from the parking spot and struck Repcik.

• Billy D. Napier, 50, of Sidney, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on May 28 at 3:56 a.m.

Napier was traveling eastbound on East Court Street when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a parked car owned by Allen Clark, of Sidney, and a tree.
