IUTIS prepares for summer softball

SIDNEY – IUTIS is more than just a boys’ softball club in the summer. It began in 1930 as a community service organization, and that spirit of community service lives on nearly 100 years later. However, since covid, membership is down.

CELINA — The eighth annual Artistry Under the Dome, fine art show and sale, will be held once again at St. Charles Sr. Living Community, 2860 US Route 127, Celina, on April 14 from 6:30 9 p.m., April 15-16 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

LAKEVIEW — The Indian Lake Development Corporation (ILDC), a 501c(3) non-profit organization, is hosting the 37th annual Maple Syrup Festival and Pancake Breakfast.

Sally is the daughter of Nate and Kristen Heitman. The pageant is the 4th annual contest and marks the start of activities for this coming weekend’s celebration of St Patrick’s Day events.

Out with the old

Garrett Vondenhuevel, of Sidney, uses an excavator to remove the base of the Free Entertainment Tent stage, located on the Shelby County Fairgrounds. The old stage was torn down on Friday, March 10. Vondenhuevel said a new stage will be built before the start of the 2023 Shelby County Fair.
