SIDNEY — Lehman Catholic High School is the only state-chartered, Roman-Catholic comprehensive institution providing secondary education for the students of Auglaize, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby counties in West Central Ohio. SIDNEY — Holy Angels Catholic School continues to grow in faith, academics, and service.

RUSSIA — “It’s hard to believe that the first semester is over, and we are already a month into the second semester. So far, it has been an exceptional school year. SIDNEY – Sidney City Schools offers preschool to children ages 3-5 at Whittier Early Childhood Center. Preschool registration for the 2024-25 school year opens on March 4, 2024.

SIDNEY – Sidney City Schools has set its kindergarten screening and registration for the 2024-25 school year for Tuesday, May 21, 2024, for Longfellow Primary School and Wednesday, May 22, 2024, for Emerson Primary School. Both screenings will take place at Longfellow Primary at 1250 Park St. Appointments can be made beginning Monday, March 4, 2024.

PIQUA — Edison State Community College will host two State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training sessions. The first session will begin on March 11, 2024, and the second session will begin on April 2, 2024. This course provides students with local classroom and clinical training led by experienced instructors and allows them to begin working as an STNA in a few short weeks.

ANNA — The Shelby County Science Day was held at Anna Local High School for Shelby County students, grades 5-12 on Thursday, Feb. 1. Students from Anna High School and Jackson Center Middle School completed science research projects and presented their findings to area professionals, researchers, and educators.

PIQUA — Edison State Community College is hosting a Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Information Fair on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Emerson Center at the Piqua Campus. During the event, current nursing students and practicing nurses can learn about the opportunities available to them in pursuing a baccalaureate degree.
