Couple mark golden date

SIDNEY — Carolyn and Terry Wilcox, of Sidney, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the south in the near future.

Terry and the former Carolyn Williamson were married Oct. 13, 1968 in the Methodist church in Sidney. It was a sunny, cool fall day. Witnesses were maid of honor Sue Williamson Stackonis and best man Larry Wilcox.

Terry has a sister, Vicki Wilcox, and a brother, Larry Wilcox, both of Bradenton, Florida.

Carolyn has three sisters, Annie Irenton, of Piqua, and Vicki King and June Williamson, both of Sidney.

The Wilcoxes have a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Chandra Wilcox, of Columbus, and a daughter, Krista Wilcox, of Sidney. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Carolyn retired as a cook at Sidney Middle School in 2015. Terry retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2012. He works in the tool department of Lowe’s in Sidney.

Carolyn enjoys crafting and cooking. They both enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchild.
