NEW BREMEN — Margaret “Margie” and David Bensman, of New Bremen, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, Oct. 28, 2018, at a Mass in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Minster at 10 a.m. and a dinner and reception in the Knights of Columbus hall.
David and the former Margie Pohlman were married Oct. 26, 1968, in Osgood. Witnesses were Elaine Heitkamp, Orville Bensman, Marge Moore, Jim Pohlman, Jan Homan, Henry Pohlman, Patricia Grieshop and John Hoelscher.
The Bensmans have five daughters and four sons-in-law, Maria and Brian Lammers, Denise and David Mooney, Jennifer and Joe Moeller, Joyce and Brad Steinke, and Anne Bensman, and a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Katie Bensman. They have 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The couple are retired farmers. They enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with their family and friends.
