SIDNEY — Joe and Mary Jane Purtee, of Sidney, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 12, 2021.
Joe and the former Mary Jane Pulfer were married on June 12, 1961 in the United methodist Church in Richmond, Indiana. The Rev. Hubanks officiated the ceremony.
Joe is the son of the late Lewis and Margaret Purtee.
Mary Jane is the daughter of the later Roy and Margaret Pulfer.
The couple has three sons: Tony and Carly Purtee, of Kentucky; Randy and Adina Purtee, of DeGraff; and Gale Purtee, of Sidney. They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Joe is retired from Crown Equipment in New Bremen. Mary Jane is retired from Holloways.
The couple enjoys fishing and camping.
