Fultzes celebrate golden date

BOTKINS — Yelonda and Larry Fultz, of Botkins, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, June 2, 2016.

Larry and the former Yelonda Gill were married June 2, 1966, in Miami, Florida, on a beautiful, sunny day. They had met when Larry was serving in the Army and was stationed at Homestead Air Force Base.

Larry is the son of the late Evelyn and Wilburn Fultz. He has three sisters, Beverly Bond and Sarah Studdard, both of Ranger, Texas, and Ramona Rumbo, of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Yelonda is the daughter of the late Edna and Andrew Gill. She has three sisters, Jo Thomas, of San Antonio, Texas, and Cleopatra Bryant and Mona Lisa Gill, both of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and a brother, Andrew Gill, of Richmond, Kentucky.

The Fultzes have two living sons and two daughters-in-law, Chance and Theresa Fultz, of Miamisburg, and Choice and Jodi Fultz, of New Knoxville. Another son, Chase, is deceased. They have five grandchilren.

Yelonda retired as a cook from Fair Haven in 2015. Larry has been semi-retired since 2012 from Fultz Warehouse Carpet.

They enjoy spending time with family and attending their grandchildren’s activities. They plan to cruise to the Caribbean later this summer.
