MINSTER — Barb and Pat Fullenkamp, of Minster, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, July 3, 2016, at a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Pat and the former Barb Hemmelgarn were married July 2, 1966, in the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Burkettsville. The Rev. Leonard Fullenkamp, uncle of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony on a scorching hot day. Witnesses were Ron Hemmelgarn, brother of the bride, and Nancy Figel, sister of the bridegroom. The couple had been high school sweethearts in the St. Henry class of 1965.

Pat is the son of the late Ruby (Smith) and Tiny Fullenkamp.

Barb is the daughter of Florence (Grillot) and Cletus Hemmelgarn, of Burkettsville, who will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary in July.

The Fullenkamps are the parents of three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angie and Jim Eschmeyer, of Gahanna, Carol and Brad Deslich, of New Albany, and Terri Fullenkamp, of Harvester, Missouri. They have five grandchildren.

Pat and Barb each retired from Post Printing in 2011. They attend St. Augustine Catholic Church.
