WAPAKONETA — Pauline and Don Krites, of rural Wapakoneta, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family, Aug. 11, 2016.

Don and the former Pauline Koch were married Aug. 11, 1956, in the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clay Township, by the Rev. C.J. Kettler. Witnesses were Arlene (Lee) Williams and Frank Krites, brother of the bridegroom.

The Kriteses are the parents of five sons, Kevin, of Leavenworth, Kansas, Kendall, Keith and Richard, all of Wapakoneta, and Randall, of McCartyville, and a daughter, Rhonda Freisthler, of Botkins. They have 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Don retired from Stolle Corp. in Sidney after 47 years of service. Pauline is a retired teacher and homemaker.
