MINSTER — Virginia and Joseph Baumer, of Minster, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, Oct. 25, 2015, at a 10 a.m. Mass in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster and a dinner with family at the Arrowhead Golf Club.
Joseph and the former Virginia Tumbusch were married Oct. 22, 1955, in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cassella. The Rev. Ed Vonderhaar performed the ceremony.
The Baumers are the parents of a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Marge Baumer, and a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Mark Heitbrink, all of Minster. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Joe and Ginny both worked at Community Lanes Bowling Alley in Minster, where Joe was the manager for more than 40 years. He retired in 2000.
