BOTKINS — Carol and Jerry Vaughan of Botkins, formerly of Fairbury, Illinois, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, March 2, 2018.
Jerry and the former Carol Grosshans were married, March 2, 1968, in the First Christian Church in Fairbury, Illinois.
They have three sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Carol Vaughan, of Fairbury, Illinois, Brandon and Stacey, of Spencerville, and Trevor and Abby, of Morton, Illinois. They have six grandchildren.
Jerry served in the U.S. Marines from 1962 to 1966, attaining the rank of sergeant. He retired after 42 years in the agri-feed business, first with Honegger Feeds in Fairbury and most recently with Hubbard Feeds in Botkins.
Carol retired after 30 years of working with various doctors in the medical field.
