DUBLIN — Carly and Akira Okamoto, of Dublin, have announced the birth of a son, Dean Christopher Okamoto, born March 5, 2018, at 10:06 p.m., in the Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin.

He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Dianne and Chris Wooddell, of Sidney. His paternal grandparents are Emiko and Yutaka Okamoto, of Sidney.

His great-grandmother is Evelyn Moeller, of Sidney.

His mother is the former Carly Wooddell.
