NEW BREMEN — Christine and Kurt Albers, of New Bremen, have announced the birth of a son, Riley Christopher Albers, born Aug. 2, 2018, at 12:04 a.m., in the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

He weighed 9 pounds, 2.4 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sister, Josie, 8, and his brothers, Zackary, 6, and Brody, 4.

His maternal grandparents are Therese and Steven Homan, of St. Sebastian. His paternal grandparents are Brenda and David Albers, of New Bremen.

His mother is the former Christine Homan, of St. Sebastian.
