FORT LORAMIE — Amy and Joe Knapke, of Fort Loramie, have announced the birth of a son, Lane Douglas Knapke, born Nov. 29, 2015, at 11:52 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 10.6 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Sandy Gehret, of Fort Loramie, and the late Doug Gehret. His paternal grandparents are Marilyn and Ken Knapke, of Maria Stein.

His great-grandparents are Beverly and Wayne Wilt, of Anna, Frances and Lawrence Gehret, of Fort Loramie, and Mildred and Urban Knapke, of Marie Stein.

His mother is the former Amy Gehret, of Fort Loramie.
