PIQUA — Cara and Brandon Bercot, of Piqua, have announced the birth of a daughter, Emma Marie Bercot, born Dec. 28, 2018, at 1:15 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 3/4 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Tracy Barnthouse, of Piqua, and the late Curtis Long. Her paternal grandparents are Mark Bercot and Kathy Bercot, both of Piqua.

Her mother is the former Cara Long, of Piqua.
