HOUSTON — Janell and Keith Stang, of Houston, have announced the birth of a daughter, Janessa Nicole Stang, born Jan. 1, 2016, at 9:03 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health, in Sidney.

She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 18 3/4 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her brother, Jaxon, 3.

Her maternal grandparents are Barb Borchers, of Sidney, and the late Bob Borchers. Her paternal grandparents are Peg and Jim Stang, of Russia.

Her great-grandparents are Elma Wolaver and Martha Borchers, both of Houston.

Her mother is the former Janell Borchers, of Houston.
