OSGOOD — Ellen and Jacob Hoelscher, of Osgood, have announced the birth of a son, Christian James Hoelscher, born Dec. 8, 2015, at 4:59 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Linda and James Maurer, of Fort Loramie. His paternal grandparents are Aimee and Steve Hoelscher, of Yorkshire.

His great-grandparents are James Maurer, of Fort Loramie, Connie Watercutter, of McCartyville, Kathy Hoelscher, of Yorkshire, and Marcella and George Stuck, of Russia.

His mother is the former Ellen Maurer, of Fort Loramie.
