SIDNEY — Meranda and Ben Sherman, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a son, Lane Allan Sherman, born Jan. 25, 2016, at 7:29 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Cayden, 3.

His maternal grandparents are Gina and Bill Friestuhler, and David Shaw, all of Sidney. His paternal grandparents are Cheryl and Mark Sherman, of Sidney.

His mother is the former Meranda Shaw, of Sidney.
