ROCKFORD — Ethan and Rachel Hayes, of Rockford, announce the birth of their son, Foster Emerson Hayes, Aug. 15, 2019, at 4:02 p.m. at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

He weighed 8 pounds 0.9 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He was welcomed home by a brother, Henrik, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Jerry and Mary Muhlenkamp, of Minster. His paternal grandparents are Pete and Twyla Hayes, of Rockford. His great-grandmother is Ada Fast, of Rockford.

His mother is the former Rachel Muhlenkamp, of Minster.
