SIDNEY — Rachel Mae Hess and Tyler Allen Miranda, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a daughter, Ember Mae Miranda, born Feb. 15, 2016, at 10:29 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her brother, Miles Miranda, and her sister, ShaeLynn Miranda.

Her maternal grandfather is Harold Lawrence Hess, of Piqua. Her paternal grandmother is Kimberly Ann Kelly, of Sidney.

Her great-grandparents are Brenda Ann Rave, Judy Ann Hughes and Frank Hughes, all of Sidney, Shelia Mae Rhodes, of Hamilton, Terry Penny of Fairborn, and Chalmer Rave, of Alger.

Her mother is originally from Sidney.
