PIQUA — Heather and Curtis Compton, of Piqua, have announced the birth of a son, Kolton Curtis Compton, born March 5, 2016, at 3:02 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Rita and Tom Boshears and Michelle Martin, all of Sidney. His paternal grandparents are Roxie and Chet Compton and Karin Compton, all of Sidney.

His great grandparents are Ginger Boshears and Carol Partington, both of Sidney.

His mother is the former Heather Boshears.
