CELINA — Matthew and Laura Niekamp, of Celina, announce the birth of their son, Michael Joseph Niekamp, born on July 12, 2022, at 6:09 p.m. at Wilson Hospital in Sidney.

He weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19.75 inches long.

He is Matthew and Laura’s first child.

His maternal grandparents are Vernon and Amy Ahrns, of Fort Loramie. His paternal grandparents are Carol and the late Daniel Niekamp.

His mother is the former Laura Ahrns.
