SIDNEY — Kirsten Barger and Daniel Stewart, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a son, Paxton Elliot Stewart, born April 8, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Jill and Ed Barger, of Anna. His paternal grandparents are Cheryl Stewart, of Sidney, and Duane Stewart, of Sidney.

His great-grandparents are Lillie and Charles Cost, of Sidney, Lelia Jones, of Sidney, and Carol Snyder, of Piqua.

His mother is originally from Anna.
